Cindy Bright

Youth Pastor

Pastor Cindy is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church. She was born in Arkansas and raised in North Carolina. She has also lived in Missouri and Oklahoma where the churches she served allowed her to take her first steps into ministry while serving as their youth director. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For the past 11 years, Pastor Cindy served churches in the Kentucky Annual Conference before moving to Russellville in September of 2018. She has been married to her husband, Jeff, for 29 years. They have two children, Sarah, who is a speech pathologist for the Rogers Public Schools and Rachel, who is a student at Arkansas Tech. Pastor Cindy is known to randomly start singing or humming, can quote way too many Seinfeld episodes and loves to be outside, walking or riding her bike. She and her family are thrilled to be back in Arkansas and a part of the congregation and community where Jeff was born.
