Worship

Children’s Church

During both 8:30 and 10:40 worship, children ages 3 through first grade will depart from worship to enjoy a time of praise, point, and prayer.

Children will be present in worship through singing and the Children’s Sermon. Then, they will depart with their teacher for Children’s Church. After worship is over, parents can pickup their children at the assigned classrooms. The only exception is on Communion Sundays when Children will return to worship to receive the bread and cup and then sit with their teachers until worship concludes.

Children’s Church focuses on three aspects of worship. During the Praise time, kids will sing, play games, and reenact Bible tales. This is followed by the Point time when children learn a Bible story that is then reinforced through a tangible activity. Children’s Church concludes with Prayer time; children will experience praying together, sharing joys and concerns, and learn the Lord’s Prayer. The combined focus on praise, point, and prayer jam packs this thirty-minute session with fun and faithful learning.

Each Sunday, parents fill our a "Children's Church Ticket" located in the pew racks for children to participate in Children’s Church. Then, children bring their tickets to the Children's Sermon.
